Terms of Service

By creating an account or connecting your Shopify store, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using Lemma on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, ensuring the accuracy of all information you provide, and all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at founders@letslemma.com of any unauthorized access or suspected breach.

Lemma connects to your Shopify store via OAuth. By authorizing this connection, you grant Lemma permission to read your store's orders, customers, products, and related data solely to power the platform's analysis, digital twin generation, and interview features.

You may disconnect your store at any time from Settings. Upon disconnection, your raw store data will be permanently deleted within 7 days. Anonymized analytical outputs may be retained indefinitely.

You warrant that you have the legal right to share this data with Lemma and that doing so does not violate Shopify's terms or any applicable law.

Lemma operates on a token-based system. Upon signup, 500 tokens are credited to your account at no charge. Additional tokens may be purchased at any time through the platform.

Tokens:

• Have no expiry date

• Are non-refundable once purchased

• Are consumed when generating digital twins, running persona interviews, or generating reports

• Are not transferable between accounts

All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes (e.g., GST) and are final upon purchase.

Lemma's digital twins and personas are AI-generated constructs derived from your store's behavioral data. They are not real people.

Insights, interview responses, and reports generated by the platform are probabilistic outputs based on observed behavioral patterns — they do not constitute guaranteed predictions of actual consumer behavior. Lemma makes no representations about the accuracy of AI-generated outputs in real-world market conditions.

All business decisions made on the basis of Lemma's outputs are made strictly at your own risk.

Your Store Data: You retain full ownership of your Shopify store data at all times.

Your Outputs: You own the analytical reports and insights generated for your account.

Lemma Platform: Truwisdom Labs Private Limited retains ownership of all platform software, AI systems, persona-generation methodologies, interview frameworks, and analytical systems.

Aggregated Data: You grant Lemma the right to use fully anonymized and aggregated data to improve the platform and develop benchmarks. Such data will never identify you, your organization, or your brand.

Lemma maintains strict confidentiality over your store data and all analytical outputs. We may disclose data only to service providers operating under confidentiality agreements, or where legally required by applicable law.

You agree not to use Lemma to:

• Upload unlawful or infringing content

• Conduct illegal activities of any kind

• Reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the platform

• Attempt to manipulate or game the digital twin or persona-generation systems

• Access another user's data or account without authorization

• Violate the rights of any third party

Lemma may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, without notice, at its sole discretion.

Lemma may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in unlawful conduct, or tamper with the platform's technical systems to gain unauthorized advantage.

Upon termination:

• Platform access ceases immediately

• You may request an export of your analytical reports within 30 days

• All personal and store data will be permanently deleted 60 days after termination, except where retention is required by applicable Indian law or to resolve ongoing legal disputes

The platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Lemma does not guarantee:

• Specific business outcomes or revenue results

• Accuracy of AI-generated personas in real-world conditions

• Uninterrupted or error-free service availability

Lemma strives to maintain high platform availability but makes no binding uptime guarantee on any plan.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lemma shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

In no event shall Lemma's total cumulative liability exceed the total amount paid by you to Lemma in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Truwisdom Labs Private Limited, its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, your store data, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

Lemma shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, internet or infrastructure failures, third-party service interruptions, war, strikes, or pandemics.

We may update these Terms at any time. Where changes are material, we will notify you via the platform or email. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chandigarh, India.
